InstantAtlas™ now used by EMAP Public Sector to deliver dynamic business-to-business content
London, England, 12th August 2010 Geowise data visualization software InstantAtlas is now being used by one of the UK’s leading business-to-business publishers to explain trends in healthcare and local government services.
Health Service Journal (HSJ) and Local Government Chronicle (LGC) are both using InstantAtlas stand-alone, dynamic reports to help their readers understand regional and local patterns and trends in performance. They are using previously compiled data to produce InstantAtlas reports which are made available to subscribers online.
Increased interest in the visualization and communication of location-based statistical data has been reflected in a growth in the number of global visitors to the InstantAtlas™ website (http://www.instantatlas.com) which have increased by 20% and the number of free trial downloads (up by 24 per cent year on year).
Rachel Purkett, online editor, HSJ said: “Our first InstantAtlas report has allowed us to present data in an engaging, dynamic way that has strongly appealed to our readers. More than 1,000 readers used the report on the first day it appeared on the site.”
Mike Forster, managing director GeoWise, echoed these sentiments. “I’m very pleased that EMAP Public Sector is making such good use of our InstantAtlas software. Its already award-winning content will I’m sure be enhanced by these reports giving readers the intelligence they need in an easy-to-understand format,” he said.
The first InstantAtlas report that HSJ has published compares primary care trust (PCT) world class commissioning scores and can be found at:
